Terms of Service.

1. Who we are

Knurlbase is a membership platform that connects fans of home gym gear with small, founder-led American manufacturers. "We," "us," and "Knurlbase" mean Knurlbase, Inc. "You" means the person or entity using the service.

2. What you get with a membership

A Knurlbase membership grants you access to: (a) the curated member marketplace, (b) early access to new product drops from our partner makers, and (c) for Fanatic Tier members, the ability to purchase Specialty Items that are exclusive to our members. Your membership does not entitle you to free products — it entitles you to the access described above.

3. Billing and cancellation

Memberships are billed monthly or annually, in advance, via the payment method you provide. You can cancel anytime from your member dashboard. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again. We don't offer prorated refunds on annual plans except where required by law.

4. Purchases from partner makers

When you purchase a product from a partner maker through Knurlbase, you are entering into a direct transaction with that maker. The maker is the seller of record. They handle fulfillment, shipping, warranties, returns, and support. Knurlbase does not collect any share of these purchases. 100% of the purchase price goes to the maker.

If something is wrong with a product, start with the maker. If they don't respond within a reasonable time, reach out to us and we'll help you resolve it.

5. The "no ads" promise

We don't run advertising on Knurlbase, and we don't accept sponsored placements, kickbacks, or paid promotions from partner makers. A shop's inclusion and visibility on the platform is based on the curation criteria we publish, not on any payment to us. This is a commitment we make to members, and we take it seriously.

6. Creator referrals

If you signed up through a creator's referral link, that creator receives a share of your membership for as long as you remain subscribed, as described in our Creator Program page. This doesn't cost you anything extra and it doesn't change how your support is split — it's paid out of our platform share.

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the platform lawfully and in good faith. That means: don't share your login, don't try to extract bulk data from the site, don't harass partner makers or other members, and don't use creator-referral mechanics in bad faith (e.g., mass-signup-and-cancel to juice referral totals).

8. Changes to the service

We may update features, pricing, or these terms over time. If we make material changes, we'll notify members by email with at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before the changes take effect if you don't agree.

9. Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided "as is." We don't warrant that the platform will always be available or error-free. We're not liable for the actions, products, or warranties of partner makers — they're independent businesses. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
